View from the Couch: A Review of The Gentlemen

In The Gentlemen (Netflix, 2024, eight episodes), the high-born Eddie (Theo James) inherits the family title of the Duke of Halstead and a vast estate. He soon discovers that the family mansion is also “home” to an enormous weed empire, and its proprietors aren't going anywhere. There is something very compelling in learning that the seemingly grand and sophisticated are in reality thugs.
