There are important rules for those who plan to skate: Skate aids or pushers are permitted, so bring your own if you have a beginner skater — the rink does not have boards to grasp onto. Please ensure all children under 12 wear a helmet while on the ice. If they do not they may be asked to leave.
Helmets are provided for free on Friday (5 p.m. to 9 p.m.), Saturday (10 a.m. to 9 p.m.), and Sunday (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) only.
For updates on the ice condition, rink closures, special holiday hours, special events and more policies for skaters to remember, visit https://www.facebook.com/FortGeorgeNHS.
