Shafoli Kapur is the OLP candidate for Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) in Niagara Falls Riding. An immigrant to Canada from India in 2009,
Shafoli’s journey to becoming a dedicated community leader and advocate is rooted in her strong educational foundation and a relentless drive to make a
positive impact on the lives of others. After completing her degree in Electrical Engineering, Shafoli embraced the entrepreneurial spirit and, over the past 12 years, has built a thriving business from the ground up.
As a successful business owner, Shafoli demonstrated exceptional leadership in growing her company, which became a model of inclusivity and empowerment. Shafoli firmly believes in creating spaces where everyone can succeed—regardless of their gender, race, or background—and she has made it her mission to champion these values.
In addition to her work in business, Shafoli is an unwavering advocate for women’s rights, mental health awareness, and social justice. She has dedicated much of her time to volunteering with women’s shelters, supporting survivors of abuse, and advocating for mental health resources that are accessible and effective. Shafoli is deeply committed to addressing the stigma surrounding mental health issues and ensuring that all individuals, regardless of their circumstances, have access to the support and services they need.
Beyond her advocacy work, Shafoli is a passionate mentor and community leader. Shafoli recognizes the vital role that small businesses play in local economies, and she has dedicated herself to fostering an environment where entrepreneurs can flourish, create jobs, and contribute to the prosperity of their communities.
As MPP, Shafoli is committed to making sure that Niagara Falls, Fort Erie and Niagara-on-the-Lake remains a place where residents have access to high quality healthcare, affordable housing, and economic opportunities.
Shafoli is committed to working tirelessly for this community. Her focus will be on improving healthcare, making life more affordable, and supporting small businesses so that Niagara can thrive.
