The light heavyweight title isn't the only thing on the line at this weekend's UFC 313 match in Las Vegas between Alex Pereira and Magomed Ankalaev, the two men are also putting a big chunk of their own change on the line.

This week, Pereira also bet Ankalaev a cool $200,000 he would win Saturday's fight (with the money going to a charity). Ankalaev, a devout Muslim, responded by affirming his commitment to a charitable donation, tweeting back to Pereira, "As a Muslim you know betting is forbidden in Islam, and also as a Muslim every year I have to give 2.5% of my wealth to charity this is one of the five pillars of Islam. Many kids around the world are in need and we can do things after the fight but we don’t have to publicize it."
Pereira (12-2 MMA, 9-1 UFC) will be defending his title against Ankalaev (20-1-1 MMA, 11-1-1 UFC) at the main event of this Saturday's UFC 313 fight. You can tune into UFC 313 early prelims at 6 p.m. ET on UFC Fight Pass, Disney+ and ESPN+. Prelims will be available on ESPN, ESPN News, Disney+ and ESPN+ starting at 8 p.m., and the main fight begins at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN+ PPV.
