On February 22, walk in Coldest Night of the Year and support accessible mental health services in your community!
Coldest Night of the Year is a family-friendly fundraising walk around Waterdown village that raises money to support Eagles Nest, a local mental health charity. Eagles Nest provides affordable counselling, coaching and support programs to adults, youth and children.
Walking routes are flat and easy. You choose the distance: 2km or 5km. Walk on your own or grab friends and family to create a team.
During your walk you will be cheered along by enthusiastic Route Marshalls, enjoy delicious treats at hosted rest stops (Tea at White House and the Jitterbug Café) and gather with other walkers for a warm snack at YFC. Walkers who raise $150 (adults) or $75 (under 18) receive a great toque to show off their fundraising efforts!
