Gelede and Friends

Friday, Feb. 21, 10 am to 5 pm RiverBrink Art Gallery, 116 Queenston St, Queenston, daily until Feb. 26. The exhibition Gelede and Friends is drawn from the private collection of guest curator Ayo Adewumi. Born in Nigeria, Adewumi has collected ancestral and decorative masks, carvings, and metalworks over several years. The objects included in the exhibition offer a unique glimpse into the rich artistic and cultural heritage of Nigeria.

Pumphouse Instructors Group Show

Tuesday to Sunday, until March 20. 11 am to 4 pm, 247 Ricardo Street, NOTL. Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre. View the current exhibit in the Joyner Art Gallery. Talented instructors of the various programs at the Pumphouse will have their artwork on display. Everyone is welcome. Proceeds from this event allow us to support various initiatives in the Niagara-on-the-Lake community.

Film Screening: Lucky's Lens

Lucky's Lens is a legacy project dedicated to preserving and celebrating the cultural heritage and stories of our communities through the art of cinematography, to create a lasting legacy by capturing the essence of diverse cultures and fostering a sense of unity through the power of storytelling. We aspire to inspire, educate, and connect communities through film and photography. The screening of the documentary is followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker Anthony Stracuzzi. Limited seats.
