Family Day and the skating was FINE!

The Fine Estates Real Estate Team, led by Andrew Perrie, took over Meridian Credit Union arena on Monday for a free community skate day.

Almost 700 people visited the Meridian Credit Union Arena on Family Day for the annual free skate hosted by The Fine Estates Team and Dave Butler Law. Hot dogs, popcorn, hot chocolate and treats were all free for visiting families.

The skate has become an annual event, said Andrew Perrie of the real esate team, because, “as someone who lives, works, and plays in Niagara-on-the-Lake, I believe in giving back to the community that has given me so much. Instead of putting our marketing dollars into online ads, we choose to invest in the people here, our neighbours, our youth, and our local charities. Events like our family public skate bring people together, promote health and activity, and, most importantly, create fun and lasting memories. It’s about strengthening our community and making Niagara-on-the-Lake an even better place to call home.”

And having it on Family Day is not a coincidence, he goes on to say.

“Family Day is a reminder of what matters most, time with the people we love. It’s a chance to slow down, connect, and for me family extends beyond my home to my team members and partners to my community, which is why we host events like the Family Day skate, to bring people together, promote connection, and give back to the place we call home.”

We couldn’t agree more. Hope everyone had a happy Family Day!
