Niagara's greatest show, the Welland Jackfish, today are thrilled to unveil the full promotional schedule for the 2025 season.
The 2025 show season will kick off with Opening Night presented by CAA Niagara as the Fish take on the Barrie Baycats. The first 500 fans through the gates will receive a replica jersey.
A total of 16 giveaways highlight the 2025 schedule, including bucket hats, bobblehead, t-shirts, koozies and BBQ mitts.
"We have been hard at work since November to bring the FINatics the most wild, memorable and action-packed season Niagara has ever seen. Make sure you secure your tickets today before they sell out, we can't wait to see you at The Pond,” said Jackfish President and Director of Fun, Ryan Harrison.
New 2025 promotional highlights
- College Game Night – May 24: Move over Bills Mafia there is a new bunch of crazy fanatics in town. Tailgating, marching bands and a good old-fashioned pep rally. Celebrating everything we love about College Game Day including beer hats. Join us pre-game as we smash a car outside of Welland Stadium.
- Totally 80’s Prom Night – June 7: Grab that bright blue tux and perm that hair, it’s prom night. Head down to Welland Stadium and enjoy awkwardly slow dancing under the stars, taking those terrible prom photos and helping crown the Pond king and queen. Can’t find your tux? We have you covered, Tuxedo t-shirt giveaway to the first 500.
- Niagara’s Largest Karaoke / Boy Band Night – June 28: I want it thaaaat way. Time to get those vocal cords warmed up as we go for the record of Niagara’s Largest Karaoke. This is no ordinary karaoke night, boy band songs only, no exceptions.
- Short King Appreciation Night – July 3: Tired of short being used as an insult? Short Kings are taking over and showing why there is so much more than being five-foot-seven and above. All 18-and-over males five-foot-seven and under get in for half price.
- Stompers Night – July 5: We are stomping back in time to celebrate one of the most iconic brands in Niagara sports history. Stompers baseball will return for one night only as we have a smashing good time at Welland Stadium.
- Fiesta Night – July 19: Ay Caramba it’s time to shake it for Fiesta Night at The Pond. Come join us for the biggest Latin party in Niagara. Bring your salsa shoes and get ready for all the chips and guac you can handle. Deivy Mendez Bobblehead giveaway to the first 1,000.
- Tattoo Thursday – July 24: Ever want a 100 per cent real Jackfish tattoo but have been too chicken to do it? All ticket purchasers will be emailed before the game to enter a raffle to win a free, real tattoo. Don’t worry, we still have 1,000 temporary Jackfish tattoos to giveaway for the wimps.
- Derby Night – July 26: Saddle up those ponies, it's Derby night at The Pond. Giant hats are highly recommended. Watch as our cast battles it out for inflatable horse supremacy.
- All Welland Good Night – Aug. 16: It’s all Welland Good at The Pond and you, the FINatics, are the stars of the show. Enjoy $4 OV’s all game long because you can’t spell love without OV. Jackfish truckers hat giveaway to the first 500.

- Daddy Day Game - June 15: Grab your grill-iest dad jokes and your finest cargo shorts because Daddy Day is taking over Welland Jackfish baseball for a Father’s Day celebration that’s a cut above the rest. We’ve got dad-licious deals, pun-derful contests, and more groan-worthy moments than a family road trip with no bathroom breaks. So, tell your old man to put down the remote, fire up the "well-done" steaks later, and join us for a day that’s sure to be a home run, sport. - Youth Baseball Night / Women in Sports Night – June 21: Get ready to break barriers at Women in Sports Night with the Welland Jackfish, where the women athletes are taking centre stage in a game full of power plays and record-breaking moves. Expect home runs that’ll leave you in awe, inspiring moments from female athletes, and a night that’s all about celebrating the incredible women who are changing the game. Let’s show the world that when women step up to bat, the game changes forever. Everyone watches women’s sports.
- Canada ‘eh Game – July 1: Grab your maple syrup, put on your toque, and join us for Canada Day with the Welland Jackfish as we face off against the Toronto Maple Leafs in a game that’s eh-mazing. Expect hockey-style hits, poutine-powered energy, and more moose-tacular fun than you can shake a hockey stick at. So, puck your plans, bring your eh-mazing spirit, and let’s make this night one to leaf a lasting impression, eh.
- Pack the Pond – July 10: Bringing back Pack the Pond. Head over to any CAA Niagara location to pick up your tickets for free. Also, how could we forget, it’s Thirsty Thursday. $4 pond waters till the end of the third.
- Weenie Night – July 12: Get ready for a dog-gone great time at Weenie Night with the Welland Jackfish, where Welland Stadium is sizzling with excitement. We’re talking ketchup-tastic fun, mustard-powered contests, and a game so bun-believable you’ll be relishing every moment. So, bring your best wiener jokes, grab a dog in each hand, and let’s make this night extra juicy. Bring out your wieners, just remember, sizes doesn’t matter.
- Beach Party Night – Aug. 2: Get ready to lei it all out at Beach Party Night with the Welland Jackfish, where we’ll be serving up some tropical fun and enjoying a perfect sunset, almost as good as the beach in Crystal Beach. Expect pineapple-perfect snacks, island vibes, and a game so good, you'll be shouting "Aloha!" from the stands—aloha to boring nights, that is. So, grab your grass skirts, channel your inner luaus, and let’s make this night awesome. Keep the sun out of your eyes, reversible bucket hat giveaway to the first 500.
- Wrestling Night – Aug. 14: Step into the ring (aka Welland Stadium) for Niagara Wrestling Night with the Welland Jackfish, where baseball meets body slams in the most electrifying way possible. Expect high-flying action, grand slam snacks, and enough drama to make a steel chair blush.
