Cherry Aperocho lives in Shaw’s Lane in Niagara-on-the Lake, and when she looked out of her window and saw the bright flashes of light, a display of the Northern Lights, she dressed quickly and went to the gazebo in Queen’s Royal Park.
There she experienced “the fantastic colours of Aurora Borealis," and told The Local “it was a life-changing experience for me. I took many photos, as many as I could.”
There were several other photographers there, she said, all feeling “so fortunate to be able to watch these amazing Northern Lights, which are so rare,” Aperocho wanted to share her photos for others who might not have seen the lights.
