Shafoli Kapur to run for Liberals in Niagara Falls riding

Immigratoin consultant will run against Wayne Gates, Ruth-Ann Nieuwesteg and Celia Taylor in the upcoming Provincial election

The Niagara Falls Provincial Liberal Association (NFPLA) announced Friday night that Shafoli Kapur has been chosen to run in the riding in the provincial election.

Kapur is the founder and director of TDOT Immigration Services Inc. The company's website says it specializes in providing expert immigration assistance tailored to needs, whether seeking to study, work, or live in Canada.

Her Linked In profile shows previous work in banking with Kotak Mahindra Bank, HSBC and American Express in India and HSBC in Toronto. 

Kapur earned a degree in Electrical Engineering at Punjab Technical University and also completed the Immigration Consultant certificate program with Honours at Humber College in Toronto. 

No other details about Kapur were immediately available. 

Kapur will be seeking the Niagara Falls seat against Wane Gates of the NDP, Ruth-Ann Nieuwesteeg of the PC party and the Green Party's Celia Taylor in the upcoming Provincial election. Voters across the province go to the polls on February 27.
