Majority vote approves Parliament Oak hotel

A 129-room hotel proposed for the former Parliament Oak school site is on its way to being approved following a 5-4 vote in favour of Benny Marotta and the Two Sisters Resorts project. For the complete story click here.

Foxy morning at the fort

White Oaks proposal turned down - buildings too tall

The majority of councillors were opposed to the height of the towers on the White Oaks property in Glendale, as well as a suggestion of compromise on the height for project. Click here to read the whole story.

Details lacking in region's list of Lakeshore Road collisions

Regional staff say they don't have details of historic collisions, and the police won't release that information to the press without a request under the Freedom of Information Act.
