Craft sales and toy drives offer opportunities to purchase Christmas gifts, or donate gifts for good causes.

Events to attend this weekend include St. Mark’s annual Christmas tea sale, featuring some handmade Teddy Bears from a local collector.

Friday, Nov. 29

Tea with Teddy

Friday, Nov. 29, and Saturday, Nov. 30, 10 am to 3 pm at Addison Hall, 41 Byron Street, St. Mark’s Church. Handmade teddy bears from an extensive local collection will be for sale, as well as Christmas decor, jewellery and clothing, china, silver and linens with all proceeds going to church operations. Tea and scones $15 per person, shopping free.

Royal Canadian Legion Music

Friday, Nov. 29,  Live music at 6 pm. featuring local favourite Marty Hopkins at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 124, 410 King Street, NOTL. Call 905-468-2353

RiverBrink Family Game Night

Friday, Nov. 29, 5-7pm,  116 Queenston St. Queenston, RiverBrink Art Museum, with a variety of outdoor and indoor activities, including badminton and croquet, and board games from UNO to Monopoly. Free

Niagara-on-the-Lake Ghost Walks

The Ghost Walks continue to be held this weekend, Friday, and Saturday Go to Ghost Walks Gift Shop, 127 Queen St. NOTL for tickets. Adults are $17, Kids (13 & under) are $15 + tax. Carol Sing Wayside Chapel

Saturday, Nov. 30, 3 pm at 15796 Niagara River Parkway beside Walker’s Family Market. Join the third annual Carol Sing-a-Long. Song sheets will be provided.

Revel toy drive

Saturday, Nov. 30, 11 am-1 pm, 1596 Four Mile Creek Road, Virgil, at the Revel Realty office. Jessie and Evan MacDonald host a toy drive featuring Santa, who will collect new, unwrapped toys and gift cards for McMaster Children's Hospital and Ronald McDonald House Hamilton. They will also be collecting non-perishable food items to support Newark Neighbours Food Bank.

Food, Toy, and Clothes Drive

Saturday, Nov. 30, 11am-1pm at the Meridian Credit Union Arena lobby, 1567 Niagara Stone Rd.,  Virgil, with hot chocolate and Timbits. Held by NOTL Minor Hockey, in conjunction with Revel Realty at 1596 Four Mile Creek Road where Santa will be available for photos.

Fundraiser for Animal Rescue

Saturday, Nov. 30, 9 am-2 pm, 456 Line 2 Road NOTL. 5th annual Christmas floral sale & bake sale in support of animal rescue. Proceeds donated to charitable partners. Custom Christmas porch planters, wreaths, door swags and hanging baskets. Seasonal baked goods, assorted homemade jams, jellies, canned pickles.
