In Eric (Netflix six-episode series, 2024) Vincent Anderson (Benedict Cumberbatch), a puppeteer, father and struggling alcoholic, runs a children’s television show called Good Day Sunshine in 1980s New York. His life unravels after the mysterious disappearance of his nine-year-old son Edgar, who vanishes on his way to school. This is a powerful series that provides deep insights into the power of love and forgiveness.
