BAUER, Paul Michael

Sept. 4, 1943 - July 13, 2024

Paul passed away, on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the NHS-St. Catharines Site at the age of 80 after a long battle with cancer. He was pre-deceased by his first wife Marjorie in 2006, his mother, Loretta Bauer in 2023, his sister, Mary Bukovac, in 2021. He is survived by his wife, Xiao Ping Zhu, and daughters Lynda and Laura Bauer, his brother, Robert and his wife Shelley, of St. Catharines and his sister, Joan, of Williamsville, N.Y. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by brother-in-law, Joseph Bukovac, of Welland, niece, Shirley Ann Porga (Dan), of Welland along with great-nephews, Brandon Porga (Lauren Piedl) and Justin Porga of Welland. Paul was employed for 35 years at Hayes Dana in Thorold. The family would like to thank Dr. Wasserman and the Oncology staff at the Hospital.
