Peacefully passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Niagara Health St. Catharines site at 77 years young. Leaving behind her high-school sweetheart and devoted husband of 55 years, Adam “Addie”, she is also survived by siblings Gary Grampola, Sandra (Michael) Littner, Mary Rose (Dick) Delaney and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by brothers Peter (surviving spouse Nancy) in 2021 and Michael in 2013.

Grace was born March 20, 1947, in Thorold at the family home to the late Michael and Elizabeth Grampola. After Teacher’s College in 1967, Grace enjoyed 32 years as an elementary school teacher in Thorold. She was fortunate to retire at age 52, and hence began to experience the beauty, charm and adventure of travel to Europe, Australia and beyond. Two of her most memorable moments were ziplining above the rainforest in Costa Rica and attending the Masters in Augusta, Georgia. Besides travel, she enjoyed cooking and baking, genealogy, golfing, decorating and lunching with “the Girls”.

Friends will be received at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass in the Lamb Chapel of the funeral home. Private family Rite of Committal. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke or Meals on Wheels and online condolences in Grace’s memory may be left at www.Bocchinfusofh.com

Many thanks to Grace’s family, friends, Doctors and the ParaMed team, especially Melissa, for their endless care and support throughout her illness.

When tomorrow starts without me,
Don’t think that we’re apart
For every time you think of me,
I am right there in your heart.
