MURRAY, Verna Helen

Verna Helen Murray peacefully passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at the age of 86, with her devoted daughter by her side at Niagara Long Term Care in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Verna is lovingly remembered by her daughter Lori Semenach (Ken Savoie), many nieces and nephews, and her cherished canine companion, Sidney. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred Semenach, her parents Charles and Mabel Murray, and her 12 siblings.

Verna spent 30 years working in the laundry department at Pleasant Manor, and prior to that she worked at Avionics and the Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital. She loved to share fond memories of life on the Semenach family fruit farm with any and all who would listen.

Thank you to all the staff at Niagara Long Term Care for their kind and loving care during the last 8.5 months of Verna's life.

A private family graveside service is being held on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery, Niagara-on-the-Lake.
