Bonnie passed peacefully at home on March 8, 2025, at the age of 74. She will be deeply mourned and missed by so many family and friends.
Beloved wife of Stan for 45 years, their love and devotion to each other was something to be inspired by. Predeceased by her daughter Tricia, whose memory she carried with her always. Loving mother of Lisa (Jay) Boudreau. Proud grandma of Tyler (Skylare) Toth, Cameron and Ben. Great grandma Michael, Tristan and Eleanor. Treasured sister to Jerry (Maggie) Dobson, Doreen Dobson, Kim (John) Seigner, Jamie (Rose) Dobson, and Dean Dobson. Adored auntie to so many nieces and nephews.
The world feels emptier without Bonnie, but her light will continue to shine in our memories and hearts in so many ways. We all fondly remember her smile and infectious laugh. She loved to play cards but honestly to "win" at cards! Time at the cottage with Gary and Marlene years ago was filled with so many laughs and memories. Seeing Tyler with his kids was pure joy, she was so very proud of him. Watching Cameron and Ben play hockey was so enjoyable for her. Whether it was a win or a loss, she was extremely proud! Her time at the beach with the Dobson family was all she talked about, and she couldn't wait to go back this year. They will all still gather in her memory.
Bonnie worked for many years at Canadian Tire, and she was the "go to" for customers and employees. Recently Stan and Bonnie moved to an amazing community where they met so many wonderful friends. Bonnie was immediately involved in organizing social events like BINGO which she loved. The community and building will miss her so much. Stan will be blessed to continue these lifelong friendships.
The family looks forward to hosting a celebration of life, bringing together all those that she touched throughout the years. The details for a celebration will be announced in the coming weeks.
In the words of her grandson Tyler - "Life is like a card game, you draw a card, you can either play it or put in your back pocket, when your deck is empty and you have no more cards left to play, you played the game the best you could and for that you are the winner!”
In honouring Bonnie's wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Considerate Cremation & Burial Services, 26 Nihan Drive, St. Catharines (between Lake Street & Scott Street), 289-362-1144. Online condolences may be made at CCBSCares.ca
