Ricky Rap is a list of 10 thoughts and offerings from Niagara’s own Rick Mills. Retired from more than 30 years of management in the steel industry, he continues pastoral ministry here in town. Ricky Rap, he says, is intended to help us to believe in and laugh at ourselves.
1. Recently saw the musical drama film, A Complete Unknown.
2. A wonderfully crafted story about the first 5 years of Bob Dylan's musical career.
3. Took Cathy Marino-Mills to see Dylan once, in Toronto.
4. Walking out after concert, she says, "Please don't ever ask me to do that again."
5. I didn't ask her to go see the movie.
6. Took childhood friend, Chris Bjorgan, in her place.
7. Now thinking Cathy "might" enjoy the movie.
8. Because I'd like to see it again.
9. Here's hoping.
10. She's cuter than Chris.
