The award-winning actor who portrayed detective Hercule Poirot stars in 'Travels with Agatha Christie and David Suchet'

Actor David Suchet retraces the 11-month trip Agatha Christie took with her husband in 1922 in the new series Travels with Agatha Christie and David Suchet (Britbox, 2025; five episodes). Who better than the award-winning actor who protrayed the author's beloved detective Hercule Poirot from 1989 to 2013 to retrace her steps through Southern Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, and Canada. Suchet is a good traveller as he is quiet, observant, sympathetic and a grateful learner. He understands what others hold as sacred and fine;  he listens attentively, receives and cherishes. It is clear that in all his interactions he demonstrates gratitude. It is beyond question the most beautiful travelogue I have ever seen. A lovely series.
