Police look to identify driver in Niagara Falls assault, robbery investigation

Police say the woman is not a suspect at this point

Detectives are continuing to investigate the robbery that occurred in a parking lot at the Value Village located at 6278 Lundy's Lane in Niagara Falls on July 8, 2024. 

As a result, detectives are looking to identify a female that was operating a white, four-door sedan with the suspect in the passenger seat at the time of the incident. The suspect arrived and left the scene in the vehicle. The female is currently not a suspect. Detectives are attempting to identify and speak to her.

The vehicle was last seen travelling eastbound on Lundy's Lane.

Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the event is asked to contact detectives at 905-688-4111, option 3, ext. 1009059.

On Saturday, July 8, 2024, at approximately 8 p.m., 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service attended the parking lot at Value Village located at 6278 Lundy’s Lane in the City of Niagara Falls in response to a robbery call.

Investigation revealed that an adult male victim was in his car when an unknown male suspect assaulted him and stole his wallet. 

The suspect and the victim are unknown to each other and the incident was unprovoked. The victim sustained non life threatening injuries.  

Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect. 

He is described as:

  • Male
  • White
  • 6’0”
  • 185 lbs
  • Short brown hair

Clothing description:

Short sleeved green plaid shirt, light-colored shoes and green shorts with two vertical black stripes on leg.  

Was playing a harmonica prior to the incident. 

The suspect was observed entering the passenger side of a white 4 door car. This car was operated by a white female who is not believed to be an active participant in the incident.
