Niagara Regional Police Service detectives are investigating a retail theft in Niagara Falls.

On Monday, Jan. 22, 2024, at approximately 4:30 p.m., two unknown males, and one unknown female, entered a Shoppers Drug Mart on Lundy’s Lane and stole multiple cosmetic items. Upon entering, the female distracted an employee within the store, while the two males selected cosmetic items and concealed them within a black bag. The suspects left the store without paying. The total value of the items taken was $7,000.

At about 5 p.m., the suspects are believed to have then attended the Shoppers Drug Mart on Victoria Avenue where again upon entering, the female distracted an employee within the store, while the two males selected and stole cosmetic items. The unknown female also stole a bag of cosmetics. The three suspects left the store without paying. Staff members confronted the trio and the males returned some of the stolen merchandise. The female suspect refused to return the stolen merchandise she was holding. The suspects left the area in a newer white Jeep Cherokee. The value of the stolen items has not yet been determined.

The suspects are described as follows:

  • Suspect # 1: White Male, approx. 40-45 years old, 5'10”, medium build, dark hair. Wearing all black clothing, winter jacket. Male spoke with an accent (possibly East European).
  • Suspect # 2: White Male, approx. 40-45 years old, 5'10”, medium build, dark hair. Wearing all black clothing, winter jacket. Male spoke with an accent (possibly East European).
  • Suspect # 3: White Female, approx. 30-40 years old, 5'10”, slender build, long blonde/brown braided hair. Wearing all black and spoke with an accent (possibly East European).
