Dear Councillors,
If you approve this hotel (on the Parliament Oak property) it’s important to understand that it’s not a single project that you’re approving! You won’t be able to deny any similar seven-storey building on any residentially-zoned land anywhere in town. If this one is given approval it changes from a town where people want to live, to a place where people won’t even want to visit.
Please do not take this first step to the destruction of our town.
