Competing at the 2023 Skate Ontario Provincial Championships in Stratford last weekend, NOTL Skating Club’s Ashleen Hale won the gold medal for her STAR 9 O14 Women event, and took the silver medal in the Gold Women’s event.
Samantha Frydryk placed fourth in her STAR 9 O13 Women’s event, narrowly missing the bronze medal by .07 in her first provincial competition.
Ophelia Xie skated well and finished 17th in her STAR 6 Women’s event.
