Each week we collect the contributions from our regular columnists as they appeared on notllocal.com and bring them to you in this post, just in case you missed them.
POV: Lessons learned from a red yarn tote bag
For our weekly POV series this week, The Local's Sharon Burns receives a gift of a tote bag filled to the brim with crochet and knitting supplies and tools not long after she had cleared out some of her own yarn art paraphernalia. As she sifts through the bag she learns a little more about the person who originally owned it and also learns some lessons about herself. Learn more about the gift that keeps giving HERE.
View from the Couch: A Review of 'The Good Cop'
Tony Danza isn't "The Boss" anymore, nor is he a "Taxi" driver. In this Netflix series he's a "bad cop" living with his Good Cop son, played by singer/actor Josh Groban. Father sometimes gets in the way of son doing his job, but also lends a hand when needed. Our Donald Combe watched the series and gives his take on it HERE.
Gallery: Waterfowl love to visit the Niagara River and Lake Ontario this time of year
These are not really columns but we couldn't resist bringing you David Gilchrist's amazing photographs of waterfowl swimming along Lake Ontario and the Niagara River in Niagara-on-the-Lake. He submitted two photo galleries this week that you can see HERE and HERE.
Ricky Rap: Skiing is like riding a bicycle
Yes, it certainly is like riding a bicycle, but thankfully it's a little softer when you fall down. Rick Mills may have had to remind himself of that before he took to the Holiday Valley slopes with his family for the first time in 20 years. Find out how it went in the week's RICKY RAP.
