British horticulturalis Monty Don takes a trip to the USA to see some of the country's most interesting and famous gardens.

Monty Don’s American Gardens (BritBox, 2020 - 3 episodes) provides a refreshing look at the way Americans garden. The locations he visits are all obviously gardens created by Americans, and are extremely varied, as are Americans. Fans of Monty are accustomed to his sympathetic, in depth look, at classical gardens. This series is refreshingly different and even exciting. For him the gardeners are as important as the gardens. A gratifying diversion from the other realities of 2024.
