Foodland celebrates ground breaking

On Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024, at 2 p.m., Foodland will host the groundbreaking ceremony for its new store at The Village Centre, 111 Garrison Village Drive, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont.

This new 14,300 sq. ft. store will bring an expanded grocery selection with a special emphasis on locally sourced products tailored to the needs of the Niagara-on-the-Lake community. 

What to Expect:

• Brief speeches from Krista Payne (VP, Operations), Mark Eaton (SVP, Real Estate), Lindsey Bridgeman (Store Owner), and John Hawley from The Village Developments Inc.
• Attendance and remarks by Ashleigh Myers, Economic Development Officer, Niagara-on-the-Lake
• Attendance and remarks by members of the Niagara-on-the-Lake Town Council.
• A celebration of the community support that has brought this project to life.
